The Radiation Oncology Department of Allegheny General Hospital and its network of community based radiation oncology practices is striving to merge sophisticated technology with compassionate patient care in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.
We are a patient oriented community where dedicated personnel present a warm and sensitive treatment environment while delivering care using the latest technological advances in an atmosphere which is also committed to graduate medical and specialist training and research.
As a tertiary care facility, the Department at Allegheny General Hospital will continue to advance the state-of-the-art of radiation oncology care by collecting data, performing outcomes analysis, participating in and developing clinical trials and developing and implementing new technologies. Improved multi-disciplinary care and implementation of advanced technologies will be achieved at community practices with innovative integration and management strategies.
